Wednesday Woman-Jessica Alba

Welcome to this week's edition of Wednesday Woman.

Today we're focusing on Jessica Alba's tiny first film role in Camp Nowhere.

Schools almost out and the natives are restless.

But where to go?

Morris "Mud" Himmel (Jonathan Jackson-Lucky from General Hospital) is not into spending his time at Camp Chip-A-Wa.

With the help of Zack Dell (Andrew Keegan) school bully and Dennis Van Welker (Christopher Lloyd) actor/anybody he wants to be, Mud sets out to create his own summer place.

Come along with the crew as Van Welker turns into a tongue-in-cheek Army guy, a Richard Simmonsesque aerobics instructor, and a flamboyant Broadway buff to gather the parents permission.

Crack open the soda, chips, and candy as the kids run rampant and create a wonderful world of water guns and slides.

Stick around for the end of summer parents weekend that combines a Broadway, Weight-Loss, and Military camp all in one.

Because summer fun doesn't have an address consider visiting Camp Nowhere.

School's Out

Hey there!

Well school's out for most people right now. What better way to kick off the week than with a tribute to the best kids/teen flicks of the past?

In this Monday Man feature we have License to Drive, starring Tiger Beat's boy's of the past Corey Feldman and Corey Haim.

Permed hair. Spandex dresses. Phones with Cords! Gotta love it.

So sit back and reminisce as your daily class schedule begins to fade and you can sleep past 7 am.

School's out but Driver's Ed is still in session.

Monday Man- The Corey's

Once upon a time in the late 80's there were two teen's that had everything. The right looks. The right talent. The right movie, License to Drive.

Corey Haim is lovestruck Les Anderson, a cute, quirky guy who pines for Mercedes Lane (Heather Graham), the girl, not the street.

Come with Les as he fails the written test, but aces the road test with hilariously hard-nosed, coffee obsessed, James Avery (Uncle Phil from Fresh Prince of Bel Air) as his instructor.

Sneak out the house as Les takes granpa's mint condition Caddy, picks up Mercedes, and goes on a crash course with friends Dean (Corey Feldman) , Charles (Michael Manasseri), and drunk driver guy (Henry Alan Miller).

Breathe a sigh of relief with Billy Ocean's Get Out of My Dreams playing in the background.

Cool stunts. Fast cars. Babes and burgers at Archy's.

Isn't it time you got your license to drive?

Freaky Friday- The Skeleton Key

Welcome to this week's edition of Freaky Friday.

Today we take a look at The Skeleton Key starring Kate Hudson and Gena Rowlands.

After the death of her favorite patient Caroline Ellis leaves her nursing home position for a private nurse gig.

Located an hour outside of New Orleans, the plantation home of Violet and Ben Devereaux is decorated with antiques, eerie hallways, and secrets.

One step through the door lets you know this place isn't meant for strangers.

So grab a blanket, beer, and buddy.

They'll be waiting for you.

Wednesday Woman-Nicole Lyn

Welcome to this week's Wednesday Woman.

Today's spotlight shines on the beautiful, Nicole Lyn.

This actress lends eloquence to whatever role she tackles.

Beginning her career at the age of 9, Nicole Lyn has appeared on the series Ramona, Are You Afraid of the Dark and Student Bodies.

However, she made a big leap when co-starring in the Anne Rice mini-series, Feast of All Saints.

She plays the nearly white daughter of Cecile St. Marie and sister to Marcel.

The life of the tragic mulatto is traditionally laced with lies, self-loathing, and death.

Thankfully, Anne Rice puts a dramatic spin on the situation of being linked to two different society's and not finding peace within either.

Nicole Lyn shines as the emotionally tortured and envied beauty of the gens de couleur libre, or the Free People of Colour.

Through the course of the series Marie begins to awaken to the cruelties of life and the trap her multiracial genetics have given her.

Should she follow her heart or give in to the enslavement of being a white man's mistress, like her mother Cecile?

Only seeing this movie will give you the answer, but one thing is certain.

The survival of a vicious attack and betrayal toughens Marie up. It forces her to stand up for her beliefs and move forward in life.

So sit back, grab a snack, and celebrate the Feast of All Saints.
