Monday Man-Marlon Brando

Welcome to this week's edition of Monday Man.

Today's spotlight shines on the incredible Marlon Brando.

Marlon Brando was one of the most raw, talented actors to ever grace the stage or screen.

He has appeared in countless classics such as On the Waterfront, The Godfather, and my favorite, A Streetcar Named Desire.

Set against the backdrop of 1950's New Orleans, the passion and electricity of Brando's performance is evident from the time he walks in the room.

The animal attraction between Stanley (Brando) and Stella Kowalski (Kim Hunter) ignites a true intimacy found in the mixed up relationships of people in love.

However, the forbidden fruit of Stella's emotionally sensitive sister, Blanche (Vivien Leigh), adds to the lunacy and lust of this Elia Kazan classic.

So hop aboard a Streetcar Named Desire and travel to a place of passion, mystery, and suspense.

I have always loved Marlon Brando not just because he was good looking but because of his wonderful interpretation of his character in movies. His role in the God father was priceless and till date I love to watch that movie.

I totally agree with you. I was first introduced to Marlon in the movie Superman. I used to watch it all the time as a kid and love it to this day. Marlon was just so damn good.
